KnowGap is a proprietary web application that helps individuals select the best resources that will grow their skills as well as assist companies with reskilling and upskilling their talent pool. KnowGap helps individuals increase their personal value by aligning their knowledge, skills and abilities with their career aspirations and purpose, so that they can move forward and close the gap from where they’re at to where they want to be. KnowGap will help individuals unlock their exponential potential, so they can be all of what they want to be. A group of mentors and experts will assist learners while they are on their journey. Individuals will have their own personal portfolio dashboard to help them manage each step of the process from initially assessing their skills to identifying their goals, selecting a learning program, choosing a mentor, interacting with experts, and being matched with a learning project to practice their newly learned skills. In addition, Learners search for training resources in a particular area such as Cybersecurity or Innovation. This application locates classes, books, videos and articles on various topics and rates the content. Each article, class or program will be categorized as beginning, intermediate, or advanced. The training materials will be rated for best fit and for best content based on an algorithm. Additionally, other Learners will be able to rate the materials. Experts will also be able to review the content and provide reviews. Mentors will be available to guide learners through their journey to proficiency in a specific area. This application will be available on the web and on mobile devices. KnowGap can even serve as a tool to help even the playing field for minority communities.
